Position:  Controller

Position Summary:  Provide financial expertise and leadership to support the operation of the business, protecting the assets and interests of Waltek’s stakeholders. Reporting to the CEO, this individual is responsible for all financial and fiscal management aspects of the Company including accounting, business planning, cash management and budgeting. Additionally, this person is responsible for IT, HR and risk management. The individual is a key member of the leadership team and actively participates in the management and strategy of the business.

Position: Set-up/Assembly & Wax Injection Molding Operators

  • Operate wax injection molding machines to manufacture part patterns used in our casting process
  • Work to indentify and resolve production and quality issues
  • Work wtih others to achieve safety, production, on-time delivery, and quality goals
  • Follow written work instructions to assemble wax patterns to sprues with correct orientation and spacing
  • Visually inspect for defects
  • Update and complete daily paperwork
  • Attention to detail and manufal dexterity required
  • Must demonstrate the ability to learn and perform a variety of tasks
  • Demonstrate mathematical ability to obtain accurate counts

Position:  Foundry/Casting Finishing Operator

Waltek Inc. is looking for qualified Foundry/Casting Finish Operators to join our growing team.

The Foundry/Casting Finish Operator is responsible to perform a variety of foundry tasks with melting metal, pouring metal into molds, removing castings from molds, the ideal team member will have 2+ years’ experience in the manufacturing sector, pays strong attention to detail, self-disciplined, high energy, and is committed to workplace safety.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Operates equipment in the foundry associated with producing metal castings per (SOPs).
  • Pouring metal into molds.
  • Removing casting from molds with various methods.
  • Moving foundry materials.
  • Conforming to the requirements outlined in the quality manual and with quality policy.
  • Reading specifications in the process sheets and understanding the responsibilities associated with the process being accomplished.
  • Interprets the product condition as compared to specifications and segregates non-conforming castings from conforming castings.
  • Completes documentation required by the process sheets and (SOPs).
  • Notify supervisor of any abnormal condition affecting the ability to: produce conforming product, maintain safe working environment, or opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate with engineering department on requests.
  • Maintain and perform daily and scheduled maintenance.
  • Interface with Engineering, Operation Management, and logistics.
  • Maintains an organized work area, cleans equipment and work areas on regular basis.
  • All of these objectives must be carried out in a safe and appropriate manner while maintaining an acceptable level of quality and efficiency.
  • Completes all other work duties as assigned.

Desired Qualifications, Experience/Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Prior manufacturing experience.
  • Exposure to lean manufacturing systems/concepts helpful.
  • Exposure to AS9100/ISO 9001 Quality Systems helpful.
  • Basic computer competency required.
  • The ability to work in a high volume, dynamic and fast paced environment making quick decisions under pressure.
  • Demonstrate reliability and good attendance.
